The hashtag #LiveLikeMason and #LiveLikeMase, as well as #LiveLikeKade, #LiveLikeEmmett, and #GilaValleyStrong spread throughout the social media platforms; the communities of the Gila Valley came together in a matter of moments to rally for the three families; for all their friends, and to give strength and support to all those affected by the tragic accident. The support given to our family was and is still indescribable.  From a truck drive and gathering at Meg’s Place, the printing of thousands of shirts, to a truck show, students sold bracelets to help, ribbons were tied all over the Gila Valley, and countless local businesses and individuals showed many acts of kindness.
We established the scholarship in Mason’s name to do our best to honor him and also give back to our great community, the great young people of the Gila Valley. We encourage all recipients to follow their dreams and make a positive impact in our community.
